1. About this casting call
- This casting call is run by IONREADY Group Limited, trading as Surron New Zealand ("Surron NZ", "we", "us").
- We're looking for Surron owners to feature in our Real Riders. Real Stories. Real Surron. video series ("the series").
- Applications are open until we close them. We can pause, change or end this casting call at any time by updating this page.
2. Who can apply
- You must be 18 or over when you apply. Applications from anyone under 18 will be declined and deleted.
- You must have owned your Surron for at least six months on the date you apply. It must be your own bike.
- You must live or ride in one of our nine casting regions: Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago or Southland.
- Employees of IONREADY Group Limited, and Surron dealers and their staff, can't apply.
- We may ask for photo ID and proof of ownership (such as a receipt or the bike's VIN) before filming. If you can't provide it, you can't take part.
3. Applying as a group
- One person (the lead applicant) applies on behalf of the group.
- Every rider in the group must be 18 or over and must have owned their own Surron for at least six months.
- The lead applicant must have each group member's permission to share their details with us. Every person who appears on camera will sign their own release before filming.
4. How selection works
- Applying doesn't guarantee you'll be selected. We choose riders at our discretion, to show a range of riders, regions and riding styles.
- We'll only contact applicants who are shortlisted. If you're shortlisted, we'll contact you by phone or email to arrange the next steps.
- Our decisions on selection are final and we don't have to give reasons.
5. Filming
- We set the filming date and time, and let you know in advance. If you can't make it, tell us as soon as you can. You can pull out at any time before filming.
- You ride your own Surron. It must be in safe, roadworthy or trail-worthy condition.
- We only film at places where you have permission to ride. Off-road models are only filmed on private land or on tracks and parks where riding is allowed, never on public roads.
- Every rider on camera must wear an approved helmet and suitable protective gear while riding.
- Ride within your ability and follow any instructions from our crew. We can stop or cancel filming at any time for safety or weather reasons.
- You're responsible for your own bike, gear and travel to the filming spot. Riding carries risks, and you take part at your own risk, except where the law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other law that can't be excluded.
6. What featured riders receive
- Every rider featured in a published video receives a Surron merch pack.
- There's no cash payment or other reward. The merch pack can't be swapped for cash or transferred.
7. Using your footage and story
- If you're filmed, you'll be asked to sign a release before filming. By signing it, you allow Surron NZ to use the footage, photos, your voice, your first name and your region in the series and in our marketing, including our website, social media, ads and dealer channels, in New Zealand and overseas, with no time limit and no further payment.
- We edit the footage and decide what's published. Not everything filmed will be used.
- We won't publish your surname, address or contact details without your permission.
8. Your information
- We collect the information in this form, and anything you share with us if you're shortlisted, so we can assess your application and contact you about this casting call. We handle it in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
- Your application is stored securely and only shared with the Surron NZ team and the crew running the series. We don't sell your information.
- If you choose email or text message updates, we'll send Surron NZ news and offers by the channels you picked. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe. Choosing updates has no effect on whether you're selected.
- We keep applications while the series is running and delete them after that. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by contacting us at sales@sur-ron.co.nz.
